Mogadishu, (Insidesomalia.org) Somali President Abdullahi Yusuf said that his government will take a unique stance towards a dialogue with the opposition.

In an interview with a German news agency, he said that the government prefers talking with the moderate figures of the Union of Islamic Courts.

"We are not negotiating with terrorist neither inside nor outside of the country" said President Yusuf.

"We are ready for reconciliation to resolve conflicts in the country but only one individual can not foremost it" he added but he ruled out reports indicating that there is a difference between him and his premier Nur Hassan Hussein.

"It is baseless there is no divergence between me and the premier and we will achieve tangible accomplishment" said the president.

When asked when the Ethiopian troops withdraw from Somalia he said that Ethiopian will withdraw when AU AMISOM peacekeeping forces pledged were to be compelled.

Speaking on his health, Somali president who was in London for his routine health check he said that he is health and could resume his job.

"Immediately I will return to the country to resume my obligations" said President Yusuf.

President Abdullahi Yusuf was elected as the president of Somalia 2006 in Kenya after two years long Somali National Reconciliation Conference was completed and a Somali government was set up.

Soon after his government was allocated in Somalia aggressive challenges came up from Union of Islamic Courts who took control of Mogadishu and parts of south Somalia after being ousted in 2006 by allied Somali government and Ethiopian troops.

Insurgents believed to be remnants of UIC regrouped and start launch day by day attacks against government and Ethiopian forces.

The newly appointed Somali Prime Minister Nur Hassan Hussein vowed that his government starts negotiations with the opposition, an idea firmly opposed by his president.

Somalia was with out strong united central government since 1991 when an alliance of factional groups ousted the military regime led by late general Mohamed Siyad Barre who led Somalia for 21 years after he came into power in 1969 toppling Somalia's civilian government.
